The new Trimble® Nomad® 900 series of ultra-rugged GPS field computers are designed specifically for GIS data collection and inspection activities and are fully compatible with the entire range of Trimble Mapping & GIS field software applications.
Key improvements over the earlier Nomad 800 series are:
- An improved GPS receiver designed for productive data collection in difficult GPS conditions, capable of 2 to 4 meter accuracy and quicker time to first fix.
- A 5 megapixel autofocus camera with Geo-tagging and flash.
- Windows Mobile® 6.1 operating system.
- Operating system language downloads for Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, and Spanish are available.
