Announcing the improved warranty program for Forestry Nomad
Trimble Forestry Automation is pleased to announce the availability of the extended warranty on the Forestry Automation Trimble Nomad rugged handheld computer.
Effective November 1, 2010, all Trimble Nomad Forestry units (those that have a part number which end in a -F, -GS or -GF) will automatically receive (1) one additional year of warranty at time of purchase. This means that Forestry Automation Nomad units will be covered under the Trimble Standard Warranty program for a total of (2) two full years from the purchase date. Please see the attached documents for more information and FAQ's about Trimble's warranty coverage and policies.
There will be a nominal increase of $50 in the listed price of all Forestry Automation Nomad units. The listed price for purchasing an additional year of warranty is $219, so this offer represents a $169 value to you!
